Our Pastors

Donald is currently serving as Senior Pastor of Christian Development Center in the City of Montclair, CA.  He is 

married to Ethel Rucker (Executive Pastor) for 39 years and they are the founders and visionaries of this 

grass root ministry.

Pastor Rucker is a graduate of Victory Bible Training Center and Scholar Bible College.  His studies included New and Old Testament Survey, Church History, Greek and Hebrew Word Studies, Principles of Biblical Interpretation, Hermeneutics and Homiletics studies.

He was ordained by Dr. I. V. Hilliard, Pastor and founder of New Light Christian Center in Houston, Texas in October 2003. 

Donald Rucker, is a #1 Amazon Best Selling author, he sits on the Board of Health Service Alliance, Case Manager for City of Montclair Homeless Initiative, member of Associates of Independent Ministry (AIM), member of the West Valley Regional Steering Committee, founder/visionary of the grass root ministry Christian Development Center, graduate of Victory Bible Training Center and Scholar Bible College.  He and Ethel have directly assisted over 100 homeless families in obtaining permanent housing in the last 3 years, educated over 100 families through our Parenting Classes, and secured a $100,000 security grant from the State of California to secure the safety of congregants and others while on the campus of Christian Development Center. 

Ethel is currently serving as Executive Pastor of Christian Development Center. She was ordained to the position on January of 2014. She is the co-founder/visionary of Christian Development Center with her husband. She is married to Pastor Donald Rucker. They have been married for the last 39 years. She is the proud mother of 3 adult children Daniel, David and Erikka Rucker.
